You can close your Rupeezy demat and trading account together — either online through Dock or offline by submitting a closure form. Once your request and documents are received, it takes about 7–10 working days to close the account.
How do I close my account online?
- Log in to Dock at dock.rupeezy.in.
- In Profile, go to the Segments & MTF section.
- Fill out the account closure request form.
- After you submit, it takes up to 48 hours for your request to be approved.
- Once the request is approved, e-sign to complete the process.
How do I close my account offline?
- Fill out the closure form. You can download the closure form from this article.
- Print the form, fill it in, and submit it along with your ID proof and address proof.
- Submit the documents at your nearest branch, or courier them to the address mentioned on the form.
What should I do before submitting the closure form?
- Settle all payments before closing, and make sure the account does not hold any securities. If it does, transfer them to another demat account first.
- If the demat account is held by more than one person, all holders must sign the closure form.
- Return any unused DIS booklet to us.
Can I close my demat account while keeping my trading account open?
No — the closure request above closes your demat and trading account together as a single request. There's no option to close just the demat account and keep the trading account active.
