On Rupeezy, open a stock's buy order screen and tap the MTF product tab — the Required amount drops to what you pay upfront, and Rupeezy funds the rest at up to 5X. The shares you buy are pledged automatically; there's nothing else to do.
How do I buy a stock using MTF?
1. Search for the stock and open it.
2. Tap BUY on the stock's detail screen.
3. Tap the MTF tab on the order screen, next to Intraday, T+5, and Delivery.
4. Check the quantity, price, and Required amount, then tap BUY.

What changes when I switch to the MTF tab?
- Required drops (on stocks approved for MTF funding) to just the margin you fund — for example, from ₹286.25 to ₹57.27 on a ₹286.25 order. See What does the margin required amount on the order window mean?
- Max Qty and the leverage badge (e.g. 5.0X) switch to MTF's own limits.
- Validity is DAY or IOC only — there's no AMO (after-market order) option on MTF.
You can also tick Buy with MTF on the Delivery tab to fund that order through MTF; it does the same as tapping the MTF tab.
Things to keep in mind
- Don't see the MTF tab? You've opened the stock's BSE listing — MTF isn't available for BSE stocks. Open its NSE listing instead: for example, Reliance on NSE shows the MTF tab, while Reliance on BSE doesn't.
- MTF tab there, but Required shows the full order value? That NSE stock isn't approved for MTF funding, so the full 100% margin is collected — there's no funding on it.
- MTF has to be activated on your account before you can use it.
- Interest is charged daily on the amount Rupeezy funds — see What is Rupeezy's MTF interest? For how MTF works overall, see What is Rupeezy MTF?
- If the stock falls and you don't meet a margin call, Rupeezy can square off the position — see When will Rupeezy square off my MTF position?
